🧠 After about an hour, I turned a long-form Articulate Rise course into a modern microlearning experience — using 7Taps Copilot AI.

Here’s the core idea:

You’ve already spent the time to create traditional eLearning. Now use that same content to add a microlearning layer that reinforces the message — with spaced repetition and a format that feels more like social media than school.

Here’s how I did it:

  1. Exported Rise modules as PDFs
  2. Used ChatGPT to extract the core (skills, goals, challenges, audience) from those PDFs and screenshots of the 7Taps CoPilot AI creation tool.
  3. Dropped the answers into 7Taps Copilot AI
  4. Added my original PDFs and videos as references into 7Taps Copilot AI
  5. Auto-generated 3 mobile-first modules focused on key takeaways (took a coffee break)
  6. Scheduled each module to be shared by email using 7Taps’ built-in spaced learning path feature

✨ The result:

Short, interactive bursts of learning — with quizzes, polls, ratings, and feedback — delivered over time in a way that feels light, modern, and memorable. Not replacing the training, but reinforcing it with a hybrid of marketing and active recall.

ā±ļø Total build time? About 1 hour (yes, including the coffee break while Copilot did its thing).

šŸ’” And on top of all this?

7Taps captures all the data you’d expect — completions, interactions, and quiz scores — plus freeform learner feedback, AKA unstructured data just waiting to be analyzed by (you guessed it) more AI tools.

šŸ” More on that in a future post.

🧠 The takeaway:

Adding a microlearning layer to your existing training is fast, cheap, and measurable. It opens a feedback loop for iteration, and it’s EZ-PZ to do.

Here is a link to the CustomGPT I created to help me get the best possible information into 7taps Microlearning Copilot. It’s a thought partner meant to assist the human, but it seems to produce better results than an overworked and tired learning developer. https://chatgpt.com/g/g-685ebbb5d1248191ae80e8ad847f5450-7taps-microlearning-builder

Note, it does require a paid version of #ChatGPT to access.
