Whether you’re a designer, an admin, or the one who “knows a little about editing,” eventually this request hits your inbox:

🕗 8:00 AM

“Hey—can you clean up this Zoom call? Trim the chit-chat at the start and end. Also, can you make the audio sound better? We need it by noon.”

Most people overcomplicate this. You don’t need fancy software or studio skills. You just need to know where the magic lives.

🪄 The Tool:

podcast.adobe.com

If you have an Adobe Creative Cloud license, you already have access.

It’s fast. It’s automatic. And it’s shockingly good—even when the input sounds like someone recording from inside a shoebox with a pair of AirPods.

🛠️ The Workflow

Step 1: Trim the Video/Audio

Use any tool you like:

Camtasia, CapCut, Clipchamp, Canva, QuickTime—it doesn’t matter.

Just trim out the “waiting room banter” and anything you don’t want.

Step 2: Upload to Adobe Enhance

Go to podcast.adobe.com and upload the trimmed audio or full video file.

Step 3: Get Coffee ☕

No, seriously. Walk away for a few minutes. Let AI work behind the scenes.

Step 4: Preview + Adjust

Once it’s processed, use the slider to fine-tune the enhancement. Export the final, share-ready file.

Optional Pro Move:

Take a few extra minutes before sending the final file—just enough time to make it look like you worked really hard. The rules of perceived value tell us that the longer it takes, the more valuable the work is. Don’t let them down.

⚠️ A Note on Quality

Yes, it works on any audio.

Yes, it’s even better with good mics and clean input.

But to be clear: it works absolute magic on bad audio. That’s where it shines.

📣 Keep an Eye Out

Each Wednesday, we’ll share an everyday workflow using everyday tools—clever, fast, and worth adding to your playbook.
